Today, I have another fantastic interview to share with you. Meet Melissa, a member of my Wunder Divas community, and another living testimony of the power of the work I teach!
1) How did your love life look like when you found Sami Wunder?
After my divorce, I didn’t want to get in to a serious relationship.
My guard was up, and I went out on casual dates (in fact, reflecting back I cringe at how masculine I had been).
I’ve been divorced for more than 5 years and picked up a lot of bad habits along the way.
When I decided I was ready to settle down and become serious, I had no clue where to begin. I found Sami’s website and started following her teachings.
2) How does your love life look now?
I knew I wanted a good man, but had no clue what I had in store for me when meeting Joseph.
He treats me like a queen, and I can see love beaming from his eyes as he looks at me.
We just “fit”.
There is no struggling or feeling as if we were “making” it work.
I’m sure a big part of this is knowing what role each of us are.
3) What was the most painful dating experience you had, before you found Sami Wunder and her group Wunder Divas?
I lost my way and didn’t know where to begin.
I’ve been in masculine mode for so long… being in total control of my life for so long, my child’s life and being a Manager in a “man’s” world.
I never relied on anyone else, and even though I knew I wanted to settle down, I had a hard outer shell and unintentionally wasn’t allowing anyone to penetrate through it to find the real me.
4) Which of Sami’s programs did you engage with?
Her Diva Dating Toolkit was my first purchase, and it was an eye opener.
I knew I had work to do on myself, but that really put it all in prospective for me, on how much I needed to change my ways.
I used the book and the affirmations audio that are part of the Toolkit to change my ways, and I continued to practice and reform myself in how I handle situations in dating.
I also purchased the advanced Attract Your Soulmate program.
Sometimes we need that little voice talking to us, not only to build us up, but to help change our ways of thinking.
I also have to give props to reading other Diva’s posts on Sami’s Facebook group. It’s truly inspiring when a community is striving for the same goal. We can learn so much from each other.
I will admit it’s easy to spot the women on the group that haven’t invested in Sami’s programs, from the way they talk.
Remember, it’s not an easy transition, and you really have to invest in yourself, dedicate yourself to the change, which has, as you can see, such a great pay off.
5) What changed for you after learning from Sami and applying her teachings?
It felt so unnatural at the beginning.
I wished I could absorb all her teachings and that was all I needed.
In reality, we need to absorb her teachings and then apply it. We have to work at it.
I went on several “practice” dates.
Don’t ever feel discouraged if a date doesn’t work out!
Consider it as a learning opportunity for the next.
I had a lot of “oopsie” moments, but I just picked up where I messed up and continued on.
I would later reflect on how I handled myself so on the next date I wouldn’t make the same mistake–whether it was with the same man or another.
6) Would you recommend women to invest in themselves through Sami’s programs? Was it worth the money for you?
There is no better investment than to invest in yourself.
Sure, it helps us in relationships, but there is more to it than that. Feel good about yourself and know you really are the prize in all aspects of life.
7) What would be your one advice to the single women who are reading this interview right now?
It’s an ongoing learning opportunity for all of us. You have to apply yourself and practice until it feels more natural.
Don’t give up. Do Sami’s tools – they will give you results!
